The specialization in Computational Chemistry focusses on computational approaches in chemistry and quantum chemistry.


Courses of the specialization

Compulsory courses:

  • Computational Physics Laboratory [1] (6 CFU, II semester, II year)
  • Computational Quantum Chemistry [2] (6 CFU, II semester, II year)
  • Molecular Simulation [3] (6 CFU, I semester, II year)

At least 6 CFU at your choice from the following courses:

  • Numerical Methods in Quantum Mechanics [4] (6 CFU, II semester, II year)
  • Simulation of Multibody Systems [5] (6 CFU, II semester, II year)
  • Statistical Mechanics [6] (6 CFU, I Semester, II year)
  • Software Development Methods [7]  (6 CFU, I semester, II Year)
  • Parallel Programming for HPC [8] (6 CFU, II semester, II Year)
