abstract MHPC (www.mhpc.it) is an advanced educational program that aims at training students to the most modern computational tools and strategies. Nowadays the evolution of computational tools is that fast that new features and strategies are available on a daily basis. An educated choice among these sophisticated tools is crucial in building high quality and high performance software in computational sciences. On the other hand this exponential technological growth offers number of opportunities to both academical and industrial institutions. As a consequence number of industrial and institutional sponsors are interested in supporting students in joining the MHPC program. During this brief presentation we will outline our vision about HPC in general and its importance in computational sciences. Moreover we will present the program structure and the key logistical informations will be provided.
